How Dan helped a client overcome a disputed default
The situation
A client had a disputed default on an energy account, despite an otherwise good credit history. Their agreement in principle had been declined, and another broker had suggested a mortgage with a higher interest rate.
The approach
Dan explained the circumstances to a high-street lender, which agreed to disregard the disputed default when assessing the application.
The outcome
The client secured a mortgage at a lower interest rate than the alternative previously suggested.
