Well keep you informed during the process through email or phone.

Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)

We are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. The level of protection available depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim.

Mortgages

Mortgage advice and arranging are covered for 100% of an eligible claim, up to a maximum of £85,000 per person, per firm.

The FSCS does not cover buy-to-let mortgages or other forms of borrowing that are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Insurance

For eligible insurance claims, FSCS protection varies depending on the type of insurance.

Protection is 100% of the claim, without an upper limit, where the claim relates to a long-term care insurance contract that is a pure protection contract or to a liability subject to compulsory insurance.

In other eligible cases, protection is generally 90% of the claim, without an upper limit.

Further information about the FSCS and the protection it provides is available from the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
